Last Thursday we celebrated our annual college Carol Service, this year with a difference – rather than our usual event in the college hall we took a trip to nearby St. Chad and All Saints church, Sedgley.
The evening included music performances from students across the college, dancing and original poetry by the students along with communal carols and bible lessons read by students, staff and parents.
In addition, Yr 9 food technology students baked gingerbread snowmen, angels and Christmas trees for the attendees to enjoy on the evening.
Mrs Rennicks, Chair of Directors said “It was a lovely occasion and showcased both the fabulous talent and wonderful faith of our college.”
Mr Harrington, Diocesan Youth Development Officer with the Catenians said of the evening: “It was so well done. The children’s Music and Performances were of the highest quality.”
Donations were collected for Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd: supporting homelessness, poverty, rejection and isolation.
